Malekko Echo 600 Bright, Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man, Maxon AD999 -
And our next match! In the red corner the Malekko Echo 600 Bright. In
the blue corner the Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man. And in the green
corner (it's a triangle cage match) the Maxon AD999! It's the battle of
the analog delay pedals folks. The newcomer Malekko Echo 600 Bright from
just outside of Austin Texas comes to us with an expression pedal input,
switchable buffered/true bypass switching, and stereo outputs! Next up
the venerable Deluxe Memory Man from Electro Harmonix! This bad boy comes
to us with onboard chorus and vibrato modulation, stereo outs, and a
reputation that spans over 25 years! Last in the ring is the Maxon AD999.
This is a classic but still has some fight left in him! True analog,
true bypass and up to 900ms of delay! This is going to be a great fight
folks! The Malekko Echo 600 Bright, Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man,
and the Maxon AD999. You be the judge.

  • did you guys have these pedals running through the effects loop or directly in front of the amp?

  • No effects loop on this amp, in front the old fashioned way.

  • You are kidding of course. Maxon made and designed the whole Ibanez line at the beginning of the lines. Maxon just makes similar designs that are greatly improved over the Ibanez mass market stuff. Check the facts.

  • Maxon=before Ibanez

    Ibanez=after Maxon

    Ibanez=Maxon copiers

  • This is one of your best demos ever.

  • 3:40 That's why I am getting a DMM. Even in this compressed YouTube vid I can tell it's good. Going to be awesome for swell work!

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos was there an effects loop in front of your face at the end?

  • DMM, easily!

  • @Ilovemyfender2 Haha but for me I don't really care for slapback anyways so DMM all the way ! :)

  • The memory man won on everything except slapback, which went to the Malekko.

  • Does the Malekko use MN chips like the DMM and AD999?

  • the dmm rules in delay,

    but i loved the malekko self ocsilation! just so awesome!

  • DMM rules over these pawns.
