  • Jason, have you considered a sledge hammer to make a hole in the concrete floor to stand in so that you don't hit the garage door up top? As far as technique in CrossFit we bring the head forward as the weight is overhead. My workout yesterday was 25 X 75 LBS push press with a 400M run, repeated 4 times as quickly as possible. Stay strong.

  • the reason you bring your head forward is because that's how the body will naturally react, if you don't then the weight is off center

  • yep good advise very true

  • great job Terry... i love the push press!!!! keep it going!!!!

  • Nice gym and good video. However, the push press involves dipping the body by slightly bending the knees, hips, and ankles. You did a standing military press. Still effective, but not much for your lower body.

  • man can you check my page and give some advice? thank youu. i just started stronglift 5x5

  • I thought SL 5x5 gives you mass too fuck it if you dont get size

  • @Danger555 are you fucking retarded? you coldnt be any more wrong. there is a huge strength component to crossfit

  • youre a funny guy. your form on the press is awful though bro. youre cheating yourself out of the true benefit of the exercise.

  • You wouldn't be so out of breath if you didn't hold your breath while you lift weights

  • towels, really...? make sure u wipe the cum off first.

  • You guys are all r-tards.

5x5 is for strong lifts, as he states.. Similar to West-Side barbell training. But they use 1 max reps. (which is not for me).

5x5 is about building a strength base so you can drop down for higher reps for bodybuilders and maintain strength.

So Steroid Users.. will bench 150.. drop down to about 100-120 and bodybuild.

    Simple and effective.

5x5 is for everyone looking for strength and mass.. but its more towards strength.

ITS ALSO GOOD TO USE FOR SWITCHING UP REPS!

  • @trboh

Crossfit is great if you're not interested in gaining much mass or strength. Crossfit should be considered an alternative to biking or swimming, but is not a serious weight training regime. No bodybuilding or power lifting competitors ANYWHERE have ever used Crossfit. Crossfit = aerobics

  • @conan332 Agreed. That's probably why he has that wrist pain he's talking about.
