You would have to be very hard to please if you weren't impressed by that demonstration. Of course always better in someone else's 4x4 ;-) but none the less quite amazing.

In theory the salt wont rust the skin, but take into consideration the steel chassis and other vulnerable components such as the axles... Aluminium doesn't rust, it oxidises (looks like a powdery grey mould)... Landrovers are prone to this through Bi-metallic corrosion (steel + aluminium coming into contact with each other) e.g steel rivets in ally skin... I used to work on Navy Lynx heli's, they were really bad for corrosion with all that flying over the sea....
