I have been to some of those ruins, and there are morally legitimate reasons those places suffered the genocide of the conquistadors. All of the places I saw were complete with carved in stone instructions on human sacrifice, and what really looked to me like some sort of bragging count on how many people they did it too. Sorry, but I have yet to respect the legitimacy of any "faith" that could possibly come from such a thing. Destroy the damn things.
