BMW M6 racign a Porsche 911 Turbo (996) rolling start

BMW M6 uses Launch Control. Revs wihout a gear up tp around 4000 rpm then when I release the shift the car launches and ... all » shifts automatically all the way up to the limit. Gas pedal is depressed all the way. Continental tyres, worn tyres and cold ground (below 8 degrees) did make the 1st gear spin until second gear. We race a standard Porsche 911 Turbo (996). Sure the porsche can get to 100 faster, but it's a rolling start. the fact that the M6 has more horsepower gives it the edge to pull away at higher speeds

@nick5872 you guys that keep finding issue with the test are pathetic,this is what happen in real life situation most people will drive fast on motorway not on country roads as they are very narrow and dangerous to reach 3 figure speed,plus the people that own these cars don't really want to hit pot holes at high speed..if you want to talk about track then these are not track cars! these are to go shopping!these cars are made to go fast on motorways and cross continents as fast as possible
