This is a test of the Canon T3i with EF-S18-55 IS II lense kit. I was testing the camera and my amature skills.

As you can see in this video I still need help. If anyone can explain to me what happen in the backgound? It looks really white. It was a cold and cloudy day but not that bright?

Camera settings:

Manual focus
1920 x 1080 30fps
Auto Lighting Optimizer normal
Digital Zoom off

  • How'd you get it to focus like that?

  • @DreadfulControversy I set the camera on AF(auto focus) on the lense and then manualy focused the lense manualy by turning both part of the lense until it focused. Sorry for the bad explanation but I realy don't know the parts names.

  • @bigkrisp ... it's bright because it's overexposed =/

  • @Quand9 How do I correct this.... for future reference...

  • @bigkrisp you can do it many ways; you could turn down the ISO, get a shorter shutter speed or turn up the aperture

  • @Quand9 Thanks I will give a try next time.....
