This is the ending part of "You Are Holy" Which is the Prince of Peace and I will live my life for you" song. At the end we vamp a Em to F#/D, C2 to a a-minor, and end it with a Journey solo from "Send her my love". Usually makes the congregation teary eye'd and hands go up! Enjoy!
Hey man! Great job with the solo! It totally fits with the song, especially to end with! As a worship leader, I have to constantly remind myself that we don't lead worship/make music to make people "teary-eyed." I think our job is to bring people to the throne of grace through music. I think God should be the one moving emotions, not a solo. That totally sounds negative, but I don't mean for it too. You sound great! Keep worshipping!

I'm not one to be rude so please don't take this offensively but I think that you should defiantly loose the distortion! Including when you play in your church or where ever you play. It gives it a much purer sound and its much easier to listen to.

Thanks, none taken, but I have to play as our worship team leader prefers. There used to be a time when I felt uncomfortable having any distortion and had to play straight acoustic, but our church and youth services changed that and help me relax when I saw a 60 plus couple, hands in the air, praising to one of the songs with distortion used. But, that is only one of our songs, I use clean sounds on many other praise services. God Bless you Isabelle...and thank you for listening.
