To be honest with you I am a little concerned right now that he has just decided to side with the gov't of Iran on the istuation with Iran thinking Iran is just like venezuela when it's not. But Venezuela still is very much a democractic society. We do have a crime problem, but it think our Drink'drink'drink'screw'screw'­screw like monkeys / child child child culture has more to blame for thisw situation than chavez inaction.

NOw I just wanted to tell you another thing, things in Venezuela are much much more complex than any Chvista or the that oppostion nutter woudl try and paint for you! But to utterly ignore & brush aside & descredit the good things that have happened is comepltely unfair. I woudl like to see him do mroe to tackle curroption--especailly with in his supposed supporters & Crime, plus many of theother laws that the NA is passing he is signging them without realizing that they can be used for abuse

Jose those "almost free" universites still have tuitions that most kids living in the Barrios can't affors to pay, & until recetnly had an admissions systems which made sure that kids from Barrios stay out of the univeristy system. And these schalorships you talk about were olny given to small minority of students! But it is different today, because admissions systems are changing! This does't mean thing are rosy today--much needs to improvebut it's still better than before!
