  • @MonstarENG Well, I do support an unbiased opinion. And while I am partly biased in terms of support for the Spurs, I do concede that Kobe is an amazing player. I just think that he is a little hyped up. I'm not discounting his accomplishments, of course not. I don't think many of us, or ANY of us, could accomplish what Kobe has. I just think that in terms of the knowledge of how to maintain a balanced game and try to will your team to win, Duncan might be better. In pure skill, Kobe's better.

  • @EinsteinTDuncanHHH1 But then how much of the decade has TD had Ginobili & Tony Parker playing with him? 7 years in the 2000-2010 decade (specific years 2003-2010) and they still play together. Not to mention also having Robert Horry from 03-08. You can't put it all on TD, he's good but I'm sorry, Kobe's gotta take it as the better individual player. He can take games nearly entirely by himself. I'm not a huge Kobe fan, but I appreciate what he has done a lot.

  • @DraikonZ3 Look, about that stat, maybe they made an entire lineup for Player of the Decade. Maybe Duncan was the power forward, and Kobe was the shooting guard. All I know is, both players are good, and now that we've probably taken this too far, we should really stop before it gets confusing. But I don't think individual points always matter.

  • @EinsteinTDuncanHHH1 You can type in Kobe named player of the decade and you'll see it on here... We all have our opinions and thats all this player of the decade shit is based on is opinions... Kobe averaged alot more points than Duncan and the Lakers with Kobe have put out the Spurs with Duncan COUNTLESS times.

  • @DraikonZ3 The weirdest thing is... I just said that to Patsfan1216. Meh, maybe we should just stop this before it gets confusing.

  • @EinsteinTDuncanHHH1 Why are you comparing a Power Forward to a Shooting Guard??

  • @DraikonZ3 general or just Kobe's Lakers? Because Kobe has only contributed to five of those and if you're going to say that he practically accomplished those himself, then it might be more logical to find that he only won championships when he had a dominant big man with him. 2000-2002: Shaq and 2009-2010: Pau Gasol. Overall, the Lakers are better than the Spurs, but since 2000, the Spurs may be the more consistent team and Tim Duncan is the better player as compared to Kobe Bryant.

  • @DraikonZ3 I read an article saying Tim Duncan was named the player of the Decade. Also, if you ask Bill Simmons, aka, The Sports Guy for ESPN, he actually wrote in his book, "The Book of Basketball", that in his list of the 96 best players in NBA history, Tim Duncan is number 7, while Kobe Bryant is number 8. Kobe is incredibly good and his raw skills are much better than Duncan's, but Duncan is better overall because of his skills AND his Basketball IQ. Also, are you arguing for the Lakers in

  • @EinsteinTDuncanHHH1 According to NBA Kobe is the player of the decade.....And the Lakers were the team of the Decade, They've only been there 4 times.....Lakers have been there 31 times.....which is pretty much impossible to win everytime playing against the teams they played against.

  • @Patsfan1216 You can't compare a Shooting Guard to a Power Forward/ Center. Also, you can't give Kobe all of the credit for the 18 championships the Lakers have. It's 16 plus the championships in 2009 and 2010. He had help a lot of the time. EVERY superstar, legend, icon, enigma, whatever you want to call them that has ever played in the NBA has had help. Even Michael Jordan. He was undoubtedly just... incredible in every way in basketball. Jordan had Scottie Pippen, mainly, but many others.
