In his first post game interview in the English Premier League, Landon Donovan seems to have impressed even the stiff British Press.

  • I used to think Donovan was yank who couldn't play football, but I have to admit, he has shown great technical ability and is a great footballer.

  • I'm an Arsenal fan and I would love him to play for us.

  • I really want him to stay with us at Everton but as Brad Friedel alluded to, corporate sponsorship deals with big companies in the States are holding him back from his full potential.

  • @wade2bosh So....so I guess thank you mexicans for "giving" us Donovan? And Dempsey?

  • @plafonte Unfortunately he's worth more to MLS image-wise than any team would be willing to actually pay for him at his current age. The asking price is around ten to fifteen million US. Much more than teams will pay for a thirty year old who relies on his pace.

  • donovan is not the typical "hoofball" yank. he grew up learning from mexicans how to handle the ball. and his dad was a semi pro canadian hockey player. dempsey and torres also grew up with that mexican style.

  • @golfwang666k True...

  • @iambroIyhaha because living in LA is way better than living in England

  • He's such a retard, he has so much potential and he's wasting it with fucking shit LA Galaxy!

  • why are you in america, landon? youre better than that..go to england or spain..

  • @DonforDead Everton wanted him BADLY but LA and the MLS wouldn't let him leave when he wanted to stay.

  • I'm a Chelsea fan and it baffles me how he's still playing in America and not getting much of a look in in England, Everton should have gone for him, he can't cost that much on wages..

If he came to Chelsea I guarentee he'd do brilliant!
