From the Top taped show #255 in Bogotá, Colombia at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo on May 30, 2012. The show features over 100 young musicians from the Colombian Youth Philharmonic and the Allegro Ensemble Batuta. From the Top's first international taping was the result of efforts by the National Batuta Foundation (Fundación Nacional Batuta) and the Bolivar Davivienda Foundation (Fundación Bolívar Davivienda). This special episode of From the Top's NPR radio program will air on participating stations the week of September 17, 2012. You can also listen online at fromthetop.org.
