  • I'm ashamed to say I was not aware of Sen. Wellstones' greatness. It just shows how dirty, Business as usual crap turns citizens off to the politics. I asked Bush and both my California Senators to stay out of Iraq. Disappointing huh?

  • this is definitely at U of I... why didn't I know about Durbin coming to town?

  • Thanks for the Post. Keep up you Good Works! Sure miss Senator Paul Wellstone but his Words/Action will live On!..Thanks Senator Durbin

  • I wondered, to, why Wellstone's plane crashed and I worry about the safety of Senator Durbin. Certainly these are very disturbing times.

  • Dick Turbin

  • Thank you Senator Durbin for your recognition of this great man. I gave you a photo I took with you and Paul and Sen. Bob Kerrey of Nebraska and now I can see even more significance in your reaction. He was a strong principled and noble man and I think his influence has rubbed off on you.

  • I saw Wellstone speak agains the "War on Drugs". I asked him about the influence of the Military Industrial Complex on policy making and he said it was huge. In his speach he also talked about internal elites making a huge profit on the drug trade. I should have known he was bound to be assesinated but is hard to imagine events around you will be history when you are part of them

  • I wish there was another Paul Wellstone out there. If there is, I hope he or she makes themselves known.

  • Amen brother we should have never went into Iraq.
