@ElegyForTheMasses I say yes. I make 3D models for Poser in Max and it's makes navigating much easier. Like the commercial says, it's like holding the model in your hand. You'll get spoiled. Suddenly any app that doesn't recognize the space mouse will suddenly feel cumbersome and outdated, like Zbrush.

@mysql123456 Hey, out of curiosity, is the 3dconnexion worth it for someone who only uses Lightwave to make 3d models for video games? Also, is the $80 one decent if the higher end ones are a little pricey for me at the moment? Thanks

You just took a 3D trackball out of a mouse. My crappy old Tsunami mouse does this. AND IT'S A MOUSE.

new standard in profeccional 3D interfacing? hmm... i've never seen one being used in any engineering office - what i do see on the other hand are the 3DConnexion mice.
virtually every cad engineer i know has one of those (including me)
