@nileanaschannel But, it also prevents moisture from leaving the hair as well. People with frizzy hair often like silicone based products because blocks the moisture that causes the frizzy hair but leaves in the moisture that is needed. All silicone does is make your hair feel smoother, and there are sulfates in a lot of high end products too, so sulfates are not ALL that bad..if you constantly wash your hair, yes it may be drying. I'm in cosmetology school, my knowledge on this is correct. :)

@TheLucyLollipop Silicone IS bad for your hair... it coats the hair blocking moisture from going in your hair... the only way to get rid of silicone is by using a Sulfate shampoo, which is found in many drugstore shampoos, which is also really bad because it dries out your hair.
