Clip 06 of 10 of the series. This clip introduces the free form and cante of Granadina (pronounced Granaina). The Andalusian people swallow the "d" in this case and other words too. It shows the basic tonality of Granaina and teaches you how to recognize the signature lick that shows the characteristic of this cante

  • Adam del Monte, please do Granaina for your next video lesson, Tarantas is good but Granaina is the best, your interpretation is superior to any I've ever seen

  • Dear drummerstrummer, we will definitely release comprehensive Granainas lesson soon.

  • I totally appreciate your interpretation of the chords and sounds ( dark , sunny, ...) . that s a sensation I could only get through guitar..

  • dude , this guys playing has nothing to do with Grisha. What a stupid comparison. Both are exellent players. Del Monte is a creator in flamenco and has a propper legitimate picado, as does Grisha. Their styles are completely different. One is a creator and one a reproducer.

  • Adam you're probably the best English speaking flamenco player; you managed to demystify flamenco (codes) with your vocal cords as well as with your guitar stings! Where can I buy your tutorial DVDs in the UK?

  • Hej Rickard!

Kommer du från Göteborg! Det skulle vara bra att träffas och spela lite!!! ;)

  • You have no idea how thankful I am that you are being a musician while explaining the forms, describing the sensations of the chords of and everything, rather than blandly explaining it.

Thank you very much, this series of videos is very helpful, I am a violinist and recently wanted to arrange a flamenco inspired piece. These videos really help understand flamenco.

I would like to know if you are familiar with the music of pablo de sarasate, and what it has from flamenco, and doesn't

  • Genius man .. if i was a tenth of the player you are i`d be quite smug....well done chap

  • Amigo tu tienes leciones en espanol por favor?
