Obviously, these women never heard of "You live by the sword, you die by the sword". In other words, if you use your beauty to get you by in life, your going to add pressure to yourself by trying to obtaining your beauty to prevent losing everything. This is why vanity is considered a sin.

Tom Leykis is trying to point out that if women had a career and a strong work ethic to fall back on then maybe they wouldn't have to rely on their beauty so much.

I started out completely agreeing with Tom, but I think he has taken too harsh of a turn. Beside that: I am convinced that every woman who calls the show does not think out their argument very well before picking up the phone. The contradictory garbage that comes out of some of these women's mouths is crazy.
