Laura and Allen Palmer Wedding ~ June 14, 2009 at the Palmer Farm in Pownal

Allen and and I, Laura (Curtiss) Palmer were married on the family farm in Pownal Vermont on June 14, 2009. My daughter Shannon Alexander, Allen's daughter Christie Palmer, his sister Debbie Tetreault, my friend Kristina Andrea (VT 40th Army Band), were my best Ladies (so was Micki Drury on the sidelines with her little tribe). My son Adam Boyle walked me down to Allen and gave me away. Allen's son Stephen Palmer, Scottie Parks, Vince Conway, Billy Groves, Dick Bisson, and Brother In Law Gene Tetreault were Allen's best Men. Allen's Dad, Charlie (Chaz) Palmer performed the ceremony under a beautiful old tree on the Palmer Farm, on which Chaz put an American Flag in honor of our wedding on Flag Day. And no he is not a minister and far from it :o). He's a VT JP. We all walked down to the song So Much In Love by the Tymes. A funny point happened when the vows were being read and the next song came on, which was Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Alan Jackson. We all know my Mother in Law Priscilla loves Alan Jackson so not surprised she managed to make him part of our wedding (just kidding Mom). Allen's son Stephen gave us a beautiful toast and later we all joined each other at the Pownal American Legion. We were also given a special gift of a limo and driver that day from Jody Tornabene. As we were introduced we had more funny moments, then my son Adam introduced the new Bride and Groom in his military best style. It was a wonderful day and we cannot thank our family and friends enough. Thank you to all!!!! Laura and Allen Palmer and Family
