Here is a demo of our Jekeko Wah. The Jekeko Wah is a fixed / manual Wah pedal. The picture is a little weird.. as the pedal appears longer and narrower than it actually is. You can see a better pic on our web site. Have to work on my video skills..
It enables you to adjust anywhere in the wah sweep pattern for that sweet spot every time. Many players have used the parked wah as a tone tool (Michael Schenker is a prime example).
This was recorded with a Mesa Rectoverb 50 Watt Head w/ EL34's and a Recto 2x12 cab w/ Celestion Vintage 30's.. Cables used: Analysis Plus Yellow Flex Oval & Solid Cables Dynamic Arc Ultra. No overdrive or distortion pedals were used, only the overdrive from the amp.
The first guitar used is a MIM Tele, modified with a Gotoh Bridge and Schaller/Fender Locking tuners. This Tele is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
The second guitar used is a 2001 PRS McCarty with stock Pickups.

  • I wonder how this pedal would work with a treble boost pedal? Maybe a bit too much.

Hi, Thanks for the post. Yea that is a good question. I have actually tried the Jekeko with an HBE Germania treble boost and I really liked the tonal variations... Definitely worth a try.

  • uh... okay... but their not the Jekeko. Our customers are thrilled with it.. so as far as we're concerned... it's all good.

  • Yes, absolutely! The Carlos tone was part of the inspiration to develop the pedal. Thanks for the positive feedback!!

  • could be a good way to reproduce the santana's mid range tone by "smooth" or "europa"?

  • it has been done by numerous builders, Dunlop being one of them. Morley has a wah that does this as well and you have a full functioning wah as well.

  • Cool but pointless really.. for me anyways... I like a wah because it's interactive... If I want a stationary sound I just dial it in on the fly... that's just me though I do know other players who want fixed wah tones all the time... though it's rare and this product may be perfect for those players. It does sound great on this vidoe and thats says to me it sounds wicked in 'real life'.

  • Very sweet pedal. It is on my "to buy" list.
