Yup, I completely disagree with the sanctity of life.

But keep in mind the federal government does indeed have an obligation to protect our rights, as well as determine since what stage of our development or birth are we entitled to them. Legal person-hood cannot be a states issue.

On the other hand, as you've noted if you combine the both, even though you don't get a total ban you're hands are pretty much tied.

It's a messed up system and debate.

@bluesrockfan36 I didn't mean the WtPA is a ban. I meant that, since it relegates the issue of abortion to the states (by itself a good thing), it gives the Sanctity of Life Act that much more power, since the States' hands would be tied into protecting ALL life after conception as human beings. Therefore, it forces States to either ban abortion or draft up some kind of clause that says abortion is not murder (which would be weak without some kind of natural rights argument). Effectively a ban.
