So very brave, an inspiration, I'm being tested for diabetes as my level on last blood test was a little high, level was 8.0, hospital said that was high and I had not eaten anything since 9pm the previous night.

my diabetes things are simpler than that now..well the jag is..;D i feel sorry for you

i already have the insilun in the pen and then i shake it then i put it up to the units and then i put the jag in for ten seconds push it let go then take it out..simple im 10:)

i have a waaaaay different pricker and insilun pen than that!!!!

i have to do 2 injections, and 4 prick tests:( (including one in skool)

Between 4 and 6 is the normal range for people without Type 1 diabetes. I think in US you multiply it by...um...18, I think.
We try not to think of any level as being good or bad..just whatever it is...then we use that to bring it as close to normal as possible by eating, insulin or exercise, whatever is needed at the time. It's a daily challenge with teenage hormones racing around to keep blood glucose levels even.

@diabetessuxx - she uses pens now...that video was 2 1/2 years ago. Pens are much easier.
