Lookout 2011 - B2N Swamp Tromp

Anita Page, nature enthusiast, leads a group on a "Swamp Tromp". First she explains that it has been so dry that there is no water or even mud to walk through. Then she takes us into the forest to find lots of life and tell us what she knows about it. The group is already nature savvy in diverse ways, so they share information and finds. Date: Oct. 16, 2011.

Anita is Executive Director of the South Walton Community Council, a citizens group that promotes local quality of life. SWCC sponsors the annual Back to Nature Festival on the Emerald Coast of NW Florida, celebrating the Gulf of Mexico, rare Coastal Dune Lakes, and many state parks and forests here. This is the 10th year and had several adventures from Friday - Sunday.
