9. LOVE STORY -- The film's popular tagline "love means never having to say you're sorry" is still relevant to this day.

8. THE NOTEBOOK -- Based on the book by nicholas sparks, the film shows how love can withstand the test of time. In short, love is endless.

7. BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S -- Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard dazzle in this high entertainment delight!

6. ANNIE HALL -- The love affair between Diane Keaton's unforgettable character, Annie Hall, and Woody Allen's Alvy Singer is at once neurotic and bittersweet.

5. GHOST -- As soon as you hear the Righteous Brothers singing Unchained Melody, you know your'e in for one of the most touching romantic films ever made. This film proves love transcends the supernatural.

You should add Elizabethtown with Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst. I don't know why that movie isn't appreciated more but the love story it explores is as fantastic as those in your list.
