  • You are a poacher if you: Hunt or fish out of season Hunt without a license Road hunt Night hunt Hunt on private land without permission Exceed bag limits Sell wildlife or fish illegally Hunt in manners hazardous to the public: while intoxicated, too close to occupied buildings or shoot off main highway Use aircraft to spot game and hun Use illegal hunting / fishing devices or baits

  • @jefferyhenderson Lol yes you are correct? But none of this is shown in the video. You can shoot from a road just not across or along it. You can shoot off the highway all you want just as long as its not along or across.

  • @jefferyhenderson There was NOTHING illegal done here, so what's your problem?

  • good bird and good bird hunt btw you can shoot on old logging trails no law prohibits it only 1st,secondary roads .logging trails and privet thru fairs thru brush are open to what ever ya want to do.

  • I'm no redneck hunter but isnt it illegal to shoot from a road paved or unpaved here in alberta? Oh wait, I am a redneck from alberta and it is illegal you poaching cunt. I bet you went home boasting about the hunt of the day

  • Also, I just have to say this. Make sure the bird is dead and not moving before you pull the legs. That's just cruel.

  • Let the poor kid alone...Did you see the smile on his face at the end...That's hunting...Good job kid, i'm sure you know all the rules you have to follow.

  • not sure about the removal of the head .but i am not sure why some hunters cut a deers thoat to bleed it out either .Its dead the heart is not pumping its not going to bleed out any more?? to each his own

  • It is way more of a challenge to hit a grouse with a open sight .22 then any type or load of shotgun .Head shots are a must or a full metal jacket bullet that does very minimal damage .no regs are the same in 2 provinces and i assume the usa has different regs for each state . So do not assume that if it is against the law where you are that it is in Alberta as well .Happy hunting everyone and know your target .

  • The regs state a firearm loaded with a single bullet may not be used. They way he cleaned it is the way it is done the legs are garbage they are not considered edible. kudos to you kid well done on the cleaning fast .However the heart ,liver are edible can you all honestly say you eat these parts from every deer, elk ,moose and birds you harvest.I think not So before you do any more bashing of this father and kid get your facts straight .however I do not agree on laying rifle on road.

  • these grouse are far from tame they are completley wild i can assure you. As far as how many shots he took with the .22 he is a kid still learning to hunt .As far as the road if its and abandoned oilfied road that is not paved or graded or oiled or regullary maintained it is legal to shoot from. there are hundreds of these roads here .the individual must be min 50 yrd from the vehicle .As far as the regs are they do not state that a .22 is illigal for upland bird only migratory bird
