@eggplantrufus - how condescending can you be??? These are adults. They can make their own decisions about being part of this group that has been together for 30 years! Nobody is holding a gun to them, making them rehearse and perform. They don't need you or anybody else making decisions about their lives for them. I am sure they get quite enough of that. Have a little respect. They are obviously having a blast and a half.

Just spent a summer working with my 83-year old mother as she went through the process of dying from terminal cancer and honestly, I see nothing on these videos, as cute as they are... other than creepy young people using old and dying folks for their own benefit and playing it out on the public market so we can laugh at them or be fascinated by them as we see fit. Oh... don't give the notion that this was somehow some raucous good-time send-off for our elderly. BS.

I LOVED IT!! I saw the film on PBS Independant Lens and was blown off my feet by these "seniors". I laughed, I cried & sang along. Just marvelous!! Cheers to all the members!

I watched the Independent Lens documentary last night, and I swear, IT WAS A RIOT! Funny, poignant, sweet, sad, hilarious--just pick a feeling. What a delightful film. I hope I'm still that feisty when I hit my 70's!!
