  • As said its from the Urgh print...theres much more...trims & cuts I have I can't / won't post.....you will never see that on line.

  • where did you get this clip?

    from a dvd perhaps?

  • This clip is from a 16 mm music film archive that I have some access to, there is a lot of Police stuff. As I am a fan from way back & run my own production company(Nyquest Limited) I thought it would be good to telecine some of it & clean it up/sweeten audio & colour correct.

  • This is from the gig in france in 1980 I think. Do you happen to have the rest of the concert?

  • Yes we do

  • 3:22 Stings one cool bass man

  • Le French tone fina bon

  • damn, NICE !!! thanks for the work. Great to see them in their prime restored.

  • Aaaahh - The Police as I remember them, energetic and for real live, thx

  • What's up with the Wall Of Voodoo footage at the end of this clip?

  • Copeland is on fire.

  • I always liked how Stewart beat the shit out of his drums.

  • This is from a new wave rock film called "URGH!!" I do wish I could see the rest of the Police gig, though.

  • @87vwscir No overdubs. Stew does the harmony, and both Sting and Andy have Moog Taurus synth pedals that one plays with one's feet. I believe they were monophonic, I may be wrong. On the Synchronicity tour, they each had keyboards on the edge of the stage that they could quickly hit a note or chord on and then let ring.

  • @themekanizm That's Andy turning around and giving Stewart the " You're speeding up as usual, damn it!" look.
