Samurai Warriors 2 - Tadakatsu Without a Spear!?

An old video I found back in 2006. I thought that it was too interesting (or funny) to not show others.

Samurai Warriors 2 has a plethora of codes. One of these such codes is a weapon modifier, which is being used in this video. This code can be customized to change which specific weapon will reside in a character's first weapon slot. Changes you can make include a weapon's set (Like Yukimura's Spears, Kotaro's Guantles etc), Elemental Type, Number of Attachment Slots and Stat Boosts. You can even set the stat boosts past the +20 all the way up to 255! Of course, going over +99 results in the hundredth digit being glitched since no picture was created for them. You obviously need an Action Replay Max or Codebreaker to use said codes. I would provide them, but I don't have this particular one anymore. You might be able to find them if you search hard enough.

Anyway, what you see here is Honda holding one of Kanetsugu's weapons (his fourth to be exact). Despite the fact that he tends to hold the sword by the blade and it is short, it doesn't seem to bother him at all. The Stat boost the weapon is providing is humongous.

This weapon code does have a drawback which was written in a note with the video. It's something like this: If the modified MUS+ bonus goes past 20 in a slot, then it locks to Level 2 regardless if the point value is over 304 and your character has maxed out their base Musou stat. the third section doesn't fully form for some reason.

Oh... and I feel sorry for Nagamasa. He was KO'ed by ROLLING into Honda. Now that's friggin' hilarious. "My spear cuts all in it's path!". You sure you're holding a Spear there Mr. Honda?

Look i also have this code and... the range, the moves,the musou move and the damage are equal so its not really cool it only makes people confused. AND...... those comments ''wow'' or ''man you're awesome'' sooooo yeah.

Well it is confusing at first because you wouldn't expect a character who uses a spear to be holding a sword like that.

I mean you could have any characters using any weapon if you have the right code.

its just Kanetsugu's sword modded on to Tadakatsu.

That's odd. I'm looking at the Samurai Warriors 2: Xtreme Legends thread right now, and I can see the codes. You do need to log in to see pretty much any of the threads.

Some of the other codes I used for this game are in the Codebreaker or RAW format. Though, I don't know much about the one in this video.

Try looking for Codemasters-project. They have some original codes, and ways to convert some to Action Replay if you have the patience to search a bit.
