Weather Glitch Pokemon Platinum

Note: None of the pokes had set up rain dance. The rain started when his spiritomb pursuited my metagross and I switched into a tomb too (my spiritomb doesn't have drizzle).

A video showing rain and sandstorm at the same time damaging twice my spiritomb. THIS IS NO FAKE! I won't post the full battle cause I was testing a team, and I said to my opponent for not recording too.

Anyways, I don't know if it's a bug on the original game or the hack rom I use =/

Audio was blocked anyway =/

It's Acid Rain glitch. Normally works with T-tar, but this is just another version of it.

this is called the Platnium Weather Glitch..

This is a really old video of it but it happens when a pursuit user who can set up Sandstorm (Mainly TTar) uses it on the platnium players game it forces it to rain an sandstorm ....Its a really weird glitch but you probably discoverd it based on how old this video is lol

this is not fake, because it also happened to me while playing with a friend. I'm not sure when it began, but the sandstorm was caused by a tyranitar's sand stream. Also, the weird thing is that initially, there was just a rain that hitted me with sandstorm, and that was all. and later it began to hit twice (rain AND sandstorm). My friend switched in his tyranitar and sand stream workeda gain (which should not happen if there's a sand stream sandstorm in play already) and the weather fixed.

This happens on the cartridge as well. Go to smogondotcom, and check the Stark Mountain section. There's a thread detailing how it works, and the research into it.
