  • hi, I have a ROM and I just want some app in that room

When I extract the factory.rfs file It has APK and ODEX file with the same name

If I only push the APK to system/app, it does not work

Why you need to put to Media folder first???

  • @FunVietnamese you have to paste it into another system folder first so that you can change permissions. If you just paste it into the system/app folder without changing permissions then it will not work.

  • whats apk? and what purposes would this be good for?

  • @tteknow123 apk is a type of file on the Android platform. Android apps are packaged in .apk files, like iphone/ipod files are packaged in .deb format. You would use this method to install a new system file on your android device.
