I think they can. If you sink too fast while landing something like that happens.

@TobyParr lol

It's Britain's fault for letting the rest of Europe take part in what was mostly a BAE project. .

Crash of the UGLIEST jet fighter that ever flew (or one of the ugliest ones), to my view. It might´ve only had 2 or 3 crashes so far, but that´s just part of the story, if I´m not wrong. The prototype made its maiden flight in the mid 80s or early 90s, I think, and ever since it never stopped giving problems of one kind or another to its designers. A friend of mine told me that this aircraft will be the one with the lowest rate of losses in combat... because it will never enter combat seriously.

@TobyParr and the RAF, as the video shows

@Spitfirefan1397 nope, it was bak flying in 2 months

@TobyParr
There have been 3 crashes. One is the video you are commenting on and is British. It was repaired and has been flying for a while and has just entered a 14 month upgade at BAE. The spanish jet was one of the develoment aircraft(engine failure and crew bailed out 30,000 feet). The last one was another british one which did a gear up landing at Chine lake (aircraft wriiten off)
