12-03-11: Occupy Denver Meets Free Markets Free People

Before the Occupy Denver march we went on a peace mission to the Free Markets, Free People rally at the Capitol. They were having a canned food drive.

Apparently this rally had been cancelled due to the snow, but there were still some people and a few speakers (if any speakers would like to be IDed in this text, feel free to contact me).

There was much talk about discussing issues peacefully, and we were welcomed to announce that we had brought canned food from Occupy Denver. The charity behind the drive proved to be Step 13. Without research, I would assume this is a reference to the 12 step program.

Note that Occupy Denver helps homeless and poor people too, in a very direct fashion.
