Lyrics:
Inside four walls I live my life, doesn't matter what I've done
The government's always right
They tell us what to be they tell us what to believe
They're wrong my friend is gone

Inside four walls,
Inside four walls
The day they took away my friend

Injustice made it's mark
All the political whores only come out after dark
If anyone knows the way
Build me a bridge so I won't fall astray
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/n/nevermore/inside_four_walls.html ]
Inside four walls, inside four walls my friend
They took away your freedom
And the pigs still preach their lies

The system falls apart while the pigs still laugh
Feeding off our broken hearts
Can anyone tell me why
Violent crime means far less time?

Inside four walls, inside four walls my friend
They took away your freedom
And the pigs still preach their lies

Inside four walls, inside four walls my friend
They took away your freedom
And the pigs still preach their lies
Inside four walls, inside four walls my friend
They took away your freedom

But they'll never take your mind

Nevermore Inside Four Walls Track # 3 of Dead Heart In A Dead World Released October 17 2000 through Century Media Records

Dead Heart in a Dead World is the fourth studio album by heavy metal band Nevermore, released in July 2000. The album also features a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's hit, "The Sound of Silence". It is also notable for being Nevermore's first record utilizing seven-string guitars.
The album featured one single in the track "Believe in Nothing."

  • Damn I can see why this album is given so much praise.

'This Godless Endeavor' is one of the few albums I would give a perfect 10 rating to and so far what I've listened to is right up there with that LP.

  • One of the best bands of the last 20 years.
