The western Rift Valley has been the site of Kenya's latest deadly clashes.

In the provincial capital Nakuru, more than 60 people have been killed in the last three days.

And in nearby Naivasha, gangs armed with machetes have been attacking rival tribe members.

Former UN Chief Kofi Annan's still trying to broker a deal between the country's rival leaders, but as Mohammed Adow explains, he's not having much success.

  • Lol the translation at 2:40 is all wrong. The interviewee starts by saying that life isn't very good at the moment. The 'translator' instead talks about how she hasn't eaten.

Brilliant journalism. Keep up the good work

  • Mediocrity must be one of you attributes, Africa is not stone age, just because they have political crisis and leadership problems, doesn't mean they are stone age,,

you must be from the stone age if in the 21st century you still stereotype people by their colors and race, the saddest fact being that you are in America where there is much information to inform people, literally speaking you are not stone age but rather an ignorant and arrogant racist,

    A pity

  • TRNSLATION AY 2.40 IS A PLAIN LIE.....

  • This to The Kenyan politician is like food they hunger for such to happen so that they gain supremacy it is a shame to us all

  • Also, Africans have more repect 4 their aging parents than us in the west. We have old age homes/warehouses. Africans take care of their families-aging parents, siblings. They work hard, unlike us in North America who immediately turn 2 welfare or unemployment insurance. North America-land of the arragant. We ignore our own problems, and turn a blind eye on our own issues, & want 2 point fingers elsewhere towards other nations like Africa. Africans can teach us a thing or 2 about survival

  • for those who have left comments and have never stepped foot in Africa, should shut up. This stuff doesn't go on everyday. I'm Canadian, and live in Canada, have married a Kenyan and am planning a move to Kenya Mar. 26. Africans have more class than some North AMericans. I've been to Kenya and Tz 3x different times as a missionary, and Africans aren't as pig headed as some North Americans are. Despite their troubles, most have more values, and morals than most of us do in North America.

  • it is more than sad to note that even in this age some people stil have racial minds....we are africans and we are proud of it no mater the problems we are facing....we believe that change is coming soon....mpanda ngazi hushuka.....we are headed for the top....racism is a thing of the past and any racist has no place inn this world.....we are judged by the size of our brains not the color of our skins

  • Niggers are destroying everything and killing people? What else is new.
