Honolulu's Tea Party attracted a couple thousand folks between 4 and 7 p.m. on April 15th, 2009. It was held at the Capitol during rush hour. There's not much parking directly around the Capitol. The photographer parked a little more than a mile away at the Blaisdell Center and like many people, walked down Beretania. There were also Tea Parties on Kaua'i, Maui and the Big Island of Hawai'i. A Flash Slideshow of these photos lives at http://www.irh.com

  • Just to set the record straight - I sure as F did not put him in office and it would be fine with me if he was impeached and that is why I was there shooting photos so everyone would know we had Tea Parties here in Hawai'i too. Not all of us have the Nanny State mentality.
