Erm.. you realize the more popular something is, the more broader an audience a joke about it is? Pokemon kicks ass in sales, but I only see basement dwelling nerds whine when a joke is made about it (And theres A LOT) Remember, the more popular something is, the more easier it is to ridicule. Mad TV made fun of friends also, joking that it was racist. And might I add, its a Fox tradition to ridicule other programs on the fox network, or even the fox network itself!
