I regret criticizing this particular interviewer because he actually seems to ask the right questions at the right time, and manages to draw a lot out of Lynch.

I've watched more of his work now and conpletely appreciate it for what it is. I forgot to add in the previous comment that I actually love David Lynch stuff. But the whole culture of "trying to figure out" his works irritates me.

The simple fact isthat Mulholland Drive was originally a pilot to a tv show he was going to make but it gotcancelled, he then edited a lot of footage and made a film. It's brilliant, but the "meaning" isn't there

@bragtheface Also, I presume you made it past the first three parts enough so you realised when listening to him that he isn't "making up any old shit" and "laughing" or trying to con you because you didn't get 'it' or feel odd about watching his films. Why do you expect to be spoon fed ideas, you're out the cradle now. Think for yourself.

@bragtheface I think it's more to do with what 'you' think, and about what's going on, not being told what to think or feel. Not in regards to you, but I've always found It strange conservatives who want a devolved state (government telling them what to do) are usually the ones who hate open minded types of media the most and complain about 'mixed messages' and 'ambiguity' when it comes to film. They want a resolve that isn't there.

P.s can I suggest anyone using google not sign in with their real name and email on youtube any longer. Unless of course you want them incorporating every aspect of your life into one profile and identity regarding anything you do on the internet. The location of where and when you are, including your email when doing a search should be a red flag to anyone. I've already had advertisers sending spam to friends when looking for Christmas presents. Creepy bastards. I wonder what comes next...

Did part #5 have breasts in it I wonder? Some numpti reported it I imagine. Youtube/Google you stink, rather horribly I might add. Guns, blood and violence ok... breasts, VERBOTEN!!!
