i saw in the video where it showed all his guitars, people wanted to know about his pedals too. and i dont know of a video that shows all his pedals, what they are, and in which era they were in. sorry the writings a little light. you can still read it though.

can someone plz explain to me why johns wh10v2 wah doesnt suck all of his tone ?im having some trouble with mine

@jorgenforgen it does, think about it he has tons of pedals, all of those pedals suck his tone, and also he doesnt have the wh10 v2, he has the original.

the way he has his bass, mids and treble set on his amp also affect it. i think he also turns the volume up on his pedals way up so he still has the volume and when you turn the volume up you get tube distortion. its where you turn your volume up more than your amp volume, so the tubes create distortion, this only happens on tube amps.

@Nimrod9458 thats a phaser. the part that i think ur talking about...is when it gets to that certain part and its sounds like a flanger he steps on his wah and tilts the pedal back so it sounds like a phaser...

I'm Dave Lee, I was John's guitar tech through that entire era. I built every board pictured in you're video. I can tell you right now... You know tons more about his "Pedal Past" than I do. AMazing!! I don't even remember him ever having that Foxx fuzz on his board. But the proofs in the picture. Thanks for that trip down memory lane.

@tadhg4play mess around with a distortion pedal, boost pedal and maybe some wah engaged, some delay...lots of variables if you're in a room instead of outdoor venue. On your amp have treble and mid up with bass around 5-6. See what happens, you could find a new sound that's close, but also totally new and your own!
