Good on the fella. I'm almost 34 and have had very similar symptoms over six months. Food rarely passes my esophagus to stomach 'valve' without pain or lodging. My GP has prescribed proton pump inhibitors and I'm due for an edoscopy. I had an x-ray and they saw a suspicious anomoly at the top of my stomach.

My dad was diagnosed wth esophageal cancer a few days ago.. I am hoping, wishing and praying. This video's uplifting and I know there's hope for everyone. We all hope for the best! thanks again for this video.
This video is very uplifting. I was diagnosed with stage four squamous cell carcinoma in 2003 and still live. The radio/chemo treatments were brutal and I cried each day I had to go through them... that I am still alive is wonderful. My doctors gave me a year to live but I am still here. I wonder though how you deal with the depression of having to prepare for death, accepting it, and then waking up to life again. Thanks.
My 62 yo mom diagnosed w/Stage 3 Esoph. cancer 3 mos. ago.She has undergone a 6-weeks of rad. therapy and 4-day round of chemo. She's lost 40 lbs. Now, she is 6 wks post trtmnt and is not doing well. drs. placed an esophageal stint and shortly afterward (2 wks)had a peg line in her abdoman. Nothing is working and she is still sick. She vomits all the time and nothing helps. She will only let me feed her 4 cans of nutrition a day (1000 cals) and she is not getting any better. Any advice?
Thanks so much for posting this. My friend's brother was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer, and this video was very informative and reassuring for her, for her brother and his family, and for me as I try to be supportive. Very helpful!
