This song was sung for my Grandma back in 1985 because some guy loved her who she worked for and he wrote this song for her and gave it to this guy to have him sing it, Shes from Wisconsin

@gorealtree I just saw Steve Wariner this past Saturday night 4/2/11... and he was absolutely magnificent. He still has his great voice and can play a mean guitar. I had 5th row and it was well worth the $46. I highly recommend to all to go see him live if you have the chance. He is also a true gentleman and heck of a nice guy.

@gorealtree Well it is a sad story . Steve got a rare eye infection a few years ago and his eyeballs rotted out of his head! Instead of leaving blackened, rotted, festering holes where the eyes were, the eye docter installed blue-coloered marbles. Wow is it strange looking... but hey whatever works!......

I loved this song so much when i was a kid. My moms name was Linda and my dad would sing it to her. They are both passed away now, and I actually named my champion Husky after this song, Steelfang's Red Sky Dawning. Thank you Steve for the Memories
