  • That super hot weather must've had an effect on Noe, as that wasn't a very good live version. I do adore the story at the beginning, though ^^

  • You think so? It knocked the audience there out. With so little Noe video on YouTube (or anywhere else) I guess this will have to do for a while.

  • Thanks a ton for putting it up. I wish I could see her live, but any videos are awesome. She's awesome..

  • What did you think it was about?

  • I believe she was quoting the girls on the "pro-ana" site, that they considered themselves "iconoclastic" for their belief.

Honestly, this is a case where I would have preferred NOT knowing the story behind the song. What I imagined the song was about was preferable to the destructive horror that is anorexia.

  • Sounded right to me. She was saying that they are proud (young anorexic girls) that the image they cherish is not the same as their parents or society. Iconoclastic means "image breaking". True, thinness is worshipped by society (if that's what you mean) but they are, or aspire to be, beyond thin and they know it (at least the ones who support each other on those "ana" websites).

  • lol, she used the word "iconoclastic" wrong.

I still like her music, though. :)

  • I was there and wanted to shout out 'Kermit' at the amphibious/androgynous name bit.

It may have got a laugh, but I was too shy. :-)

  • surprised at the last comment. I've never been even close to seeing Noe lie, but this held up why I love her music. I should join ecto, or something...

  • Noe has that effect on people, she's very entrancing =D
