1,000 views? Thanks everyone!

Well, now that Escalon is a "Quiet Zone" now, trains cannot sound their horns at certain times of the day. That 'horn' you heard came from the speaker that was standing nearby. That speaker is there to imitate the sound of a horn, but it's not that loud. Too bad I didn't get to hear a nice horn salute of the K5LA. But it was still a good catch!

  • That speaker horn sucks! I want to hear the real train horn. Good video nonetheless.

  • @jisaac356 I wish Escalon would've never come to a decision like this. Thank you for your comment.

  • Aww...that sucks about the horn. I'd be blowing that bitch even if it was a quiet zone.

  • I would too, but I believe you can be penalized for blowing the horn in a quiet zone.

  • wheres the diggity dawg girl at always see her at that intersection!!

  • those horns sound like horns from ships! i might as well go to the docks before i come here!

  • Indeed.

  • I hate wayside horns, they sound horrible

  • This is the exact same thing they did to the city of Sugarland about 20 miles southwest of me (in Texas). Ugh...you'd at least think they'd pick a classic horn or something to make it sound good.
