Bill O'Reilly Backs Lou Dobbs, Slams Birthers

Bill O'Reilly interviews Richard Cohen, the director of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is demanding that CNN fire Lou Dobbs for promoting bigotry, and calls the network "irresponsible" for putting him on the air. "When is enough enough?"

O'Reilly says that the ultimate decision should be up to the viewers, and says that all he's doing is "bloviating" and is not a danger to anyone. He adds: "CNN's never gonna fire him, you know that."

Anyway, I wasn't referring to Michelle Obama as a 2nd generation Kenyan, but Obama. The term "home country" is a very broad term, and is frequently used by 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Americans to refer to their country of heritage. It's not uncommon to hear i.e Chinese Americans born in NY or LA call China their "home country." And it would certainly be dismissed as evidence for anything in a US court.

@topazrain As for Michelle Obama. She has never said he was born in Kenya. If you can find any video or tape where she says he was born in Kenya, please share. As for "home country", that's a very broad definition, and has widespread use among 1st, 2nd and even 3rd generation immigrants in the US.

@topazrain His birth certificate is a legal document certified by the State of Hawaii, thus considered legal by any US court. Thus, legally, he is a natural born US citizen with absolutely zero evidence to the contrary. What his grandmother may have said to a local TV station in 1970 is not considered a legal document under US law. You'll have to take that up with the courts if you believe an 80 year old African woman's word should be equal to a State certified birth certificate under US law.

@jwh30385 O'bama's wife, Michelle, prior to his run for president stated that his home country is Kenya. There are videos on Youtube showing at least on 2 different speaking occasions she stating this. Look them up for yourself. His wife should know where he's from. I'll take her at her word. Keep in mind the constitution of the U.S. requires a president to be a natural born citizen. If he is not he has scammed the American people.

@topazrain If you look long enough, you'll always find an expert willing to back you up. If you looked long enough, you'd also find Photoshop experts who'd "prove" your birth certificate fake. Never mind the countless experts, 100% of government agencies and courts who consider it legally legitimate. They didn't make it on YouTube.
