Well here is the first ever collection of the new 360L bins by a brand new MJ GenV on a cool spring Tuesday in September. These trucks are used all the time for recycling and garbage along with the green waste, on this day one of the Raptors was in for repairs (typical). There are another 36 GenV's on order as well for Brisbane.

I haven't uploaded a movie for ages as I have been overseas and am also not working full time as I am know an apprentice carpenter. We travelled to Europe so look on flickr for some photos of trucks and incinerators. But here is a movie that people have been asking for for ages, hope you enjoy.

I have also gotten a new camcorder, so my future movies will be in Full HD!

  • haha I watched all this footage, waiting to see one of the 360Ls getting emptied, then get told to see part 2... bastard! :P Sweet video anyway, nice to see another one of the Brissy trucks in action. I bet anyone watching would have been a little confused watching a green-waste truck handling the recycling lol Truck sounds awesome as all the MJs do, sweet to see another gun driver using the mirrors, work of a pro =]

  • @MitchellM15 Haha, my fault for listing it in the description, I uploaded part 2 and then it said upload failed which I do not know why it happened. I have seen these trucks collecting garbage and recycling all the time, it sure would confuse people like you said, but they just aren't tuned in enough! You will be pleased to know that the garbage trucks now have some signage on them, there are about 3-4 different designs that are out there, the recycling trucks are the same.

  • it would be awesome to have the gen v collecting the recyclables and the waste the same week :)

  • Ray William Johnson the most subscribed person on YouTube, once said that the key to success was to simply upload things that would interest you, and there WILL BE other people that enjoy watching it. This has most definitely topped my list of the most abstract genre ever. Nice :)

  • @MitchellM15 first sentence you typed LoL

  • The 29m Recycle MJ SL that i like it style but preferably love the sidepak CS more than any SPAK product out there. I wish to see Sidpak at 29m Size that would be super for Vegetation as it has paddle pak for it

  • @macdonaldjohnstonfan Thats not entirely true about MJ Look at the MK and Gen v the body are slightly similar

They make their bodies to styled! Looks to skinny. I dislike the exterior design of any MJ Products but the performance on the machines that ill admit is great. Alot of companies are like that about using a duplicate product and adding extra feature look at the iphones for instance too save money they put 3 same models (2g,3g & 3gs the same hardware only differences is the software

  • @macdonaldjohnstonfan sounds like you will get a few of Euro 5's in the mix.

  • @Sean12325 The drivers all prefer the MJ's over the Spak Raptors, don't get me wrong, the new Raptors are fantastic and definately the way forward for Spak, but they are still not as advanced as the GenV's. Raptors will never be used for the greens. The reason why they got the 22m GenV's over the Raptors is they they are such a low body that can go under low trees with no problems at all, and the paddle is well suited for greens collection.

  • @Superiorpakfan Thats a shame however you know why Spak are designing the RL like that, because its the cheapest way to do it, use the same body for every type of truck. Thats why the hopper on the 29m Raptors is lower than the body. It means that they can use the same hopper on all of the SL's from 23m-31m's. MJ is the only manufacturer to make a different hopper and arm for the larger recycler and smaller refuse bodies. MJ is a company that is prepared to put more designing into their trucks.
