Welcome to Off the Shelf, this time around it's the 11th Hour, sequel to the 7th Guest. This is a point and click puzzle game that has a demonic and macabre twist to it. One of my favorites. Here we see the intro cinematic and get some insight to the story. NOTE: I had to change my recording setup for this game, so you might detect some audio/video anomalies I am working to reduce.

  • @skorch82 I don't understand the cutscene. Can you please explain what happened? I am pretty sure that it would help others and me to understand since it's somewhat weird and/or confusing.

  • @Skerd100 I would, but I would give away the story. These cutscenes are snippets of a more global story that comes together as the game goes on.

  • anyone have any luck getting this game to run on a new system? vista 64bit

  • nope, you need a dos system. run it on dosbox.

  • Are you gonna do the 7th guest aswell?

  • i might, havent decided.

  • My dad has this game, and I remember he never let me watch or play this game, I was really pissed

  • Skorch you did one hell of a job with this walkthrough. This was a game with fantastic puzzles yet extremely annoying moments.

    Well done.

  • I looked it up; Harley-on-the-Hudson doesn't really exist. If it did, I assume it would be in the Hudson Valley, probably near Poughkeepsie.

  • @skorch82 Well. Could you post that in the last part of these videos, please?

  • well I managed to get it running through windows 7 by using compatibility for win 98 and 256 colours plus 640x 480 resolution.I am now about half way through the game.I haven't got dos box installed at all. All the other settings the game will either crash at the puzzles or the puzzle pieces will disappear. It never was a very stable game anyway even on win 98.Good luck.

  • 3:20 is it just me or does it sound like a moan o.o

  • the game is fun and interesting, but this video describes every unimportant minutiae that the video starts trodding at a snail's pace...just a little constructive criticism for your next video.

  • God I love this game. Never finished it. I was really young when I got it and it scared the living crap out of me. It's psych-horror that usually pulls me into games. This was psych-horror^5. All hail the 11th Hour!
