Methinks you've hit upon easily the most memorable aspect of this film and it sequel--namely the character of Elizabeth Blane. An unusually fine "fit" with role and actress (Diane Neal).

The whole business of counting seeds was cool, too though.

I think so too that she is the most memorable aspect of this film and it sequel. Diane Neal did a great Job as Elizabeth Blaine and I think this song fits perfectly to her. Diane Neal was the second reason why I wanted to see the Dracula 2000 sequels. It would be really cool when we see her one day again with Fangs in a Vampire Movie/Series. And yes this counting Seed thing was cool. Thanks for your comment.

Julie Ann Harker, You've allowed me see these films, that I may have underrated, in the past , in a new light. Your interpretation is both, beautiful & haunting. I've been aware of Diane Neal's screen presence, since L&O, but I'm now am a devotee of Elizabeth Blaine as well. This video is more than worthy of both a thumbs up and a (*****) 5 Star rating!
