Thanks zooter for the Mendez videos.. I started playing trumpet in '55.. still play some but never got half as good as Rafael..but then there's never been better than him for technique and artistry. Do you know if his boys are still alive?

Oh yeah his boys are still alive. They're living in LA I believe and are world famous urologists. Kind of a shame they didn't follow in their father's footsteps, but being world famous doctors isn't too shabby either I suppose.
