Dum Dums were a proper band but were marketed as a boy band by their record label. I remember them really resenting this (article in Melody Maker etc). Their live shows were a lot rawer in sound compared to their studio recording, which was overt polished.

@billydeeuk Josh - Lead Singer is actually living in Nashville right now with his wife and kids doing the solo artist gig. The other guys are still in england to my knowledge.

They've split up now. The lead singer, from what I can gather, spends all his spare time updating their MySpace page, but other than that, I'm not sure
