Chapter 109: See You Again (2/6)

"Ok Nicole, let's work on your intro!" Rob yelled.

I nodded, and hoped down onto the rising platform underneath the stage. In the meeting this morning, my brothers had expressed that they wanted me to open the entire show with The Climb. Rob went straight to work with some of the stage lighting helpers and others, and they made an amazing intro for me.

I crouched down, waiting for my cue to stand. When it came, I immediately started to sing. I did a run through of the whole song, glancing at David to see if he liked it. Demi, Selena, David, and Demi had arrived about an hour ago. All of them ,plus my brothers, were sitting in the seats. Nick wasn't though. He had opted to lay down on stage looking up at me.

I looked down at him, and he gave me a smile. I couldn't help but grin back.

Kevin's P.O.V.

Nicole was amazing. Her voice was way too good to go unoticed. I listened to her in awe. This song had so much emotion behind it, and I could help but remember Sarah Beth. I squeezed Dani's hand, and she smiled.

When Kiki finished, everyone applauded. She gave dramatic bows, causing us to laugh as well. Dani intertwined our fingers again, and tingles went up my arm.

"I love you," I whispered into her ear. I kissed her cheek quickly, and pulled back to see her smiling at me again.

"I got a new song!" Nicole exclaimed suddenly. My brothers and I turned to look at her. "John John, Ryan, Garbo, and Jacky, come here please!" She sang.

Our band laughed from their spot in the seats and got up. As they passed Nicki, they all high fived her, except Garbo. He decided to pinch her cheeks, because she hated that. When he stopped, both Kiki and Nick rubbed their faces.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you can both feel it. In that case..." Garbo trailed off, about to do it again. Kiki slapped his hands away and he grabbed his bass. The music started, and I started tapping my foot to the beat. I liked it so far.
