  • Thanks for uploading this, I was interested in the lineage of the tribes series. Nice try tin can.

  • @starsiegeplayer It was on DOS and windows.

I have multiple versions of both ES1 and ES2 as well as Metaltech Battledrome and Cyberstorm.

  • @TheBlitz1 Earthsiege was a DOS game.

  • @TheBlitz1 ES1 is on a freeware website... downloadable and playable on Vista at least. i could not get my original copy working but the peeps did something to the downloadable one to get it to work. Who knows who owns the rights of this game too, also i do see it as such a big deal to pirate games 20 years old...... i doubt you would even be able to find a copy never mind getting it to work.

  • @AtomicBurn02 the game is beast......

  • @TheBlitz1 I have both of these games on CD since when I was 18 (back in 1996), I worked at CompUSA and got all this stuff for pennies on the dollar. So I pretty much have everything from that time. If you weren't so lucky, I really have no idea how else you would get this game? There's not a single copy available on eBay right now, Dynamix and Sierra are both out of business, and the company that bought up all the rights has no intentions of reproducing it... so what alternative is there?

  • Kinda funny because i found a pristine copy of MechWarrior 2: the titanium trilogy collection. So i'm doing some digging on these old games.

  • I actually just came across a set of disks for this game. Good condition, been curious if it was good. pretty old school looking alright.

  • @Vadios83 I don't mind pirating software, that which is worth buying i will usually buy.

I did actually buy ES and ES2 when they were released, I was maybe 6 or 7 lol.

I found ES2 for 95, so i just saved it until i can get a virtual machine up or make a rig with win 95 on it.

Can't seem to find ES 1 though...

  • @TheBlitz1 Well then you should get the Dos version. I see no illegality if you bought the game and later get a workable version off the Internet.
