@eightwo1 Well, for one, the Jewish people are still here, they weren't wiped out. At worst, 2/3rds of the Jews that didn't flee Europe before the war started were wiped out, so that even if Hitler had managed to kill every Jew in Europe, there were still large Jewish communities in other locations. OTOH, over 99% of the native americans(NA) are GONE FOREVER. There is less than a 1/4 million NA left, of those only about 20% at best are full blooded NA. There were over 20 million when we arrived.

I do not understand their ( the Germans in general) actions however I do understand there desperation and @christo930 , how does the Native Americans compare to the Jewish people. I'm interested in knowing.

@dekippiesip I agree, that is why Auschwitz is not the largest in history. The one main thing unique about the soviet/Jew/Pole/Gypsy/Homosexu
al/Communist holocaust, is that it gets so much attention because Hollywood has a lot of Jews and they bring attention to it. -
@christo930 No one is better. The differences between ppl are cultural and not biological. Every country has done bad things.

How on earth can/could this man walk around free?

The holocaust was nowhere near the largest in history, let alone Auschwitz by itself. The American holocaust of the native Americans was larger and crueler. Did we not put them in ghettos as well, till this day! We are no better than those men.

@KayBeeEee1983 I believe that would be because, from hearing her testimony in a previous episode, she was working in "Canada" a part of the camp where food, clothing, rations and working conditions were relatively good, and she was also protected by a guard who had fallen in love with her and for whom she gave evidence at his trial :-)

@mrceebees14 No: Samuel West's pronunciation (which sounds like Hearse) is correct. Also, because there in no German 'umlaut' punctuation mark (two dots above the vowel) available on the UK / USA configured keyboard for microsoft windows, it is normal to add the letter e after the subject vowel, which would give us, in this example, the spelling of the name as Hoess :-)

This is about Auchwitz and the monster that ran it, if you wish to post comments on Iraq i'm sure there are plenty of video's pertaining to that subject here on youtube. Let's just stick to the topic on hand...
