Here is a video of my Gold stripe maroon clownfish. They are approximately 1/2" here. Watch as the buttheads at 0:29 and 0:48. They are pretty aggressive.

  • i guess there could be veriations of color. I don't know. I do know there is a golden maroon but still does not look as light as these. You are the owner ok. So no offese.

  • No offense taken don't worry. The camera I used is probably the reason they look so orange. They are not actually that color, they are more maroon.

  • ok well thanks. I thought maybe the cam cause i do professional photography as well and they looked to me to be the other type that begin with P but I cannot recall the name. But are they getting even more maroon now? Just wondering. It bothered me when someone said I was an idiot here cause i said they were not. As you said, they do look more orange. Maybe you can remove those post comments to me. Thanks

  • i can put up some stills here if you want and also a video. I can show what mine are as young. No biggy ok. I just never seen young this color at all. Mine always maroon and very dark, nearly black ....

  • is there a reason to call names. No i am not an idiot. I have them, tank raised, these do not show maroon at all. Just the orange and white. They are simular yes. Mine since little were deep maroon. Go to fosters and search maroon ok and then the other clowns. You will see what I mean.

  • i replied to you. I am not wrong but stated why. I have pics of my babies and they are no where orange and they were tank raised and they are very deep maroon in color.

  • well if they are they no where look like them. Maybe it is the color from the cam. I have maroons and tbey are very deep maroon in color not orange what so ever. I can send you a pic if you would like. Let me know. Mine were tank raised and have been deep maroon in color since., Now the first band is turing that beutiful golden yellow color.
